A Review of Productivity501.com
I consider myself a productive person. I am actually a little obsessive compulsive. That’s why I like this website. I’m not going to lie. At first I was just excited there was another chance to win an iPod Shuffle. But then I started going over the content of the site for my review. Mark Shead, the author of the Productivity501 blog has many ideas to keep you productive. From a technical standpoint, the site is very easy to navigate and void of ads and pop ups. There are few things more annoying than a jumbled and cluttered website, and Productivity501 is clean and efficient. One of the main reasons I like the site is because he seems to have some of the same ideas as me. The Have-done List is great for me because I make a to-do list everyday. I can’t wait to make a have done-list. I need to show myself what I have done, instead of what I didn’t.
Another great article I read was the Free Academic Podcasts one. I already subscribe to 4 education related podcasts, and now, several more. I love to learn, and learning should be free, so it’s always great to find podcasts helping you gain more knowledge.
Finally, I just have to mention the Dealing with Gadgets article. I have a lot of gadgets. This article really does lay out the fundamental guide to buying gadgets. I would also like to point out that the iPod Shuffle being given away fits into everyone of these categories.
So, lets review; ease of use: check; useful: check; good advice: check. I will without a doubt visit this site regularly and use some of the great tips offered by Mark. All in all, Productivity501 is a well designed site with good content, that deserves your time.
